Penn Arts & Sciences Online Learning

Welcome to Online Learning

Our team at Online Learning invites you to explore our work and services. We work broadly with departments and faculty within the School of Arts & Sciences at Penn and across the University to support the design, development, assessment and refinement of online and hybrid learning experiences and opportunities. These include:

  • For-credit and non-credit courses for undergraduate, graduate and professional students offered through The College of Arts and Sciences, The College of Professional and Liberal Studies and Penn LPS Online
  • Massive online open courses (MOOCs)
  • Flipped classroom and structured active in-class learning (SAIL) courses
  • Other learning opportunities that leverage digital technologies

This website provides an overview and showcase for our work and also hosts resources for faculty, students and professional staff focused on online learning.

Our team offers a blend of instructional design, pedagogical, project management, multimedia and video production expertise. We are the oldest online learning team at Penn and one of the largest.
